Responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and respect.
• Communicating effectively with students to share information about student progress, concerns, and support strategies.
• Providing individualized support to students who may be struggling or require additional support
• Continuously seeking opportunities for professional growth and staying updated on best practices in teaching and subject-matter knowledge.
• Working collaboratively with other teachers, administrators, and staff members to enhance the school's educational programs and student outcomes.
• Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, selecting appropriate teaching materials and resources, and ensuring curriculum coverage.
• Assess student performance and set goals
• Use technology to enhance learning experiences
• Setting assessments and overseeing examinations
• Keep an orderly classroom
• Engage & encourage students to learn
• Prepare the classroom for class activities.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a B.Ed / PGCE / PGDE with at least 3 years work experience.
• Must have Subject Matter Expertise
• Must have experience teaching and preparing students for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education(IGCSE)
• Must possess time management, conflict resolution, classroom management skill
