Legal Officer at PWAN Stars

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, and regulatory issues.
• Ensure the company's compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Represent the organization in legal proceedings and liaise with external counsel.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
• Assist in developing and implementing legal policies and procedures.
• Manage and maintain the organization's legal documentation and records.
• Collaborate with various departments to provide legal insights on operational matters.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution.
• Call to bar certificate
• Call to the Nigerian Bar and enrollment as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of post-call experience in legal practice, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in legal research and Microsoft Office Suite
