Job Summary

Blue Dutch Property is seeking a qualified and motivated In-House Legal Officer to join our team. We are particularly keen on building a diverse workforce and strongly encourage female professionals to apply for Gender Diversity in the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advisory support on real estate transactions, property management, and related contracts.
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, leases, and other property-related legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements affecting the business.
• Handle property disputes and liaise with external counsel when necessary.
• Offer strategic legal insights to support business decisions and mitigate risks.

Requirements

• Must be a qualified lawyer (called to the Nigerian Bar).
• Strong knowledge of real estate law and property management is essential.
• Excellent drafting, research, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proximity to Lagos Island (Chevron to Lekki Phase 1) is an added advantage.
• Must have great communication skills (Written and Oral)
