Legal & Compliance Supervisor at VMAX Tea & Coffee Ltd

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal & Compliance Supervisor to oversee legal, regulatory, and contractual matters for VMAX Tea & Coffee. The role ensures compliance with corporate, labor, property, and franchise laws, reducing legal risks and supporting business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, draft, and manage contracts, lease agreements, franchise agreements, and supplier contracts.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, health & safety regulations, and corporate policies.
• Provide legal guidance to management and store operations on regulatory and contractual issues.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel as needed.
• Monitor updates in laws and regulations affecting business operations.
• Support dispute resolution and mitigate legal risks.
• Maintain organized records of contracts, licenses, and compliance documentation.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure legal and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; professional legal certification preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in legal, compliance, or contract management, preferably in restaurant, retail, or franchise chains.
• Strong understanding of corporate, labor, and commercial law in Nigeria.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation abilities.
