,Qualifications and Requirements

• A candidate may qualify with a PhD in a relevant field from a recognised school, plus at least three years of teaching, research and industrial experience.
• Other accepted routes include a Master’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant field from a recognised higher school, with at least five years of teaching or research experience.
• A candidate with a good first degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant field needs at least seven years of post-qualification teaching or research experience in a higher school.

The candidate must also meet these conditions:

• Must have served as Lecturer II for the last three years
• Must have five conference or seminar papers
• Must have two journal articles or one chapter contribution in a standard textbook
• Must belong to relevant professional bodies, where needed
