Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
All contract performance related activities , typically tied to a customer site. Perform in the role as the interface between the customer and the project team, managing the transfer of information and requests relating to the execution of the assigned contract.
Assure timely resolution of issues and keep the customer advised of the progress of the project, and negotiate changes and variations and solutions to any issue arising.
Responsible for adherence to contract service, operations, and performance specifications, as well as financial & technical metrics specific to contract.
Perform proposal negotiation, and contract administration functions on assigned proposals / contracts with minimal supervision ·
Provide support to direct manager and senior contracts personnel on assigned contracts
In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
Uses high level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
A job at this level is an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college with at least 3 years of power generation experience.
Turbine technology experience (minimum of 3 years).
Demonstrated management experience (minimum of 3 years)
Fluent in spoken/written English
Demonstrated communication (oral, written and presentation) & organizational skills.
Strong business / financial skills. Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills.
Desired Characteristics
9E Gas Turbine and BOP knowledge, GE Steam Turbine will be an advantage.
Technically savvy while having strong business acumen and ability to drive overall solutions/rigor to meet customer needs.
Familiarity with long-term parts and services contracts.
Sales experience with direct customer interface.
Successful P&L experience.
Proficiency with computer tools.
Strong technical experience in power generation industry, previous commercial or project management experience.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Established project management skills.
