Responsibilities

• Sorting and Inspecting: Sort dirty items by color, fabric type, and degree of soil, and check for tears or permanent damage.
• Stain Pre-Treatment: Apply specialized stain-removal techniques and pre-treat spots before washing.
• Machine Operation: Load and operate commercial washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment safely using correct detergent amounts.
• Folding and Storing: Fold clean towels, sheets, and garments neatly, and stack or stock them on carts for distribution.
• Guest Services: Handle personal laundry requests from guests, including special instructions and prompt delivery back to rooms.
• Area Maintenance: Clean the laundry room daily, clear lint traps, sweep floors, and report broken machinery to maintenance
