We are seeking a Laboratory Scientist to join our team in Port Harcourt. The ideal candidate will conduct laboratory tests, analyze samples, and ensure accurate results to support healthcare and research activities.
This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform laboratory tests and experiments according to established protocols
Analyze biological, chemical, and environmental samples
Record, interpret, and report accurate test results
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
Participate in quality assurance and validation procedures
Support research projects and experimental design as required
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related field
2–5 years’ experience in a laboratory or research setting
Knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
