Laboratory Analyst at Harvest Feed and Agro Processing Limited

Role Overview

• The Laboratory Analyst will be responsible for conducting routine and advanced quality tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal and external quality specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out laboratory analyses for moisture, ash, starch, protein, and other key parameters.
• Maintain accurate documentation and traceability of test results.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Implement and uphold Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure compliance with NIS, AOAC, and ISO standards.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality Assurance teams to address quality-related issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in product quality and process efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Sc./HND in Chemistry, Food Science/Technology, Biochemistry, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Laboratory Analyst in a food manufacturing or Agro-processing company.
• Strong understanding of analytical methods and quality systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in laboratory instrumentation and data reporting.
