Kitchen Runner at West Africa Vocational Education (WAVE)

Job Summary:

Our client in the hospitality industry is looking for a reliable and efficient Kitchen Runner to support their rooftop restaurant and lounge. The role involves ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of food from the kitchen to the dining area, while maintaining a smooth flow of operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and promptly.
• Assist kitchen staff in preparing dishes for service and ensuring they meet presentation standards.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure accuracy of orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Assist with restocking supplies and keeping kitchen equipment in good working condition.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
• Physically capable of carrying trays and assisting with kitchen tasks.
