Kitchen Manager at TruPurpose Job Shop Limited

Responsibilities

• Manage the kitchen activities to ensure it’s smooth & efficient operation
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, & presentation to ensure guests receive the best quality food
• Control food costs & inventory
• Train & supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food quality & service
• Develop & maintain recipes & menu items, ensuring food quality & accuracy in portion sizes
• Maintain a clean, organized, & safe kitchen environment
• Manage vendor relationships & order supplies
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an OND / HND / Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of kitchen management experience
• Culinary certification is an advantage
• Previous work experience in this role or as a Chef, Cook or a similar role is preferred
• Female
• 28 - 35 years old
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, & presentation
• Experience with ordering food supplies/ingredients, inventory management, & portion/food cost control
• Leadership skills & the ability to motivate & inspire team members
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment & multitask.
