Junior Legal Associate at KOS Legal Services

Job Description

• The Legal Associate will assist in legal research, case preparation, drafting legal documents, and providing general legal support.
• The successful candidate will work closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategies, represent clients in legal proceedings, and contribute to the firm’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Support the litigation team in case preparation, court filings, and scheduling.
• Assist in client consultations and maintain strong client relationships.
• Stay updated on changes in law and compliance requirements relevant to the firm's practice areas.
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis on legal and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, and manage various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, court filings, and other related documents.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and client meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution.
• Must have completed law school and NYSC.
• 1-5 years of experience as a legal associate or in a related role.
• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
