Job Description

• The candidate will be responsible forcreatingeasy-to-use products for our business as well as our clients.

Job Responsibilities
Include the following or as assigned by the supervisor:

• Development of web applications and platforms.
• Maintenance and modification of existing web applications and platforms.
• Strong html, CSS, JavaScript, PHP (knowledge of nodejs is an added advantage) skills
• Experience in planning and deploying web based software platforms
• Ability to develop and work with APIs
• Strong application security consciousness.
• Build, improve and maintain integrations to 3rd party applications using RESTful APIs
• Integration of data storage solutions (Relational, NoSQL
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable codes.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization.
• Establish best practices to continually increase performance and scalability.

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or similar.
• 1 - 2 years work experience.
• Applicable professional qualifications, such as Microsoft, Oracle, or Cisco certification.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
• Coding skills and tech interview preparation
• System design skills.
• Candidate must reside on the island.
