Junior Full Stack Developer

The Full-stack Developer role will serve as part of a development team supporting both established projects and creating from the ground up. The ideal candidate is a team player who is adept at both frontend and backend web development and who is passionate about technology and committed to lifelong learning, possessing the ability to apply their technical knowledge, skills and experience to solve complex/real-world problems.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as a full stack JavaScript developer building a powerful integration platform for managing and orchestrating integrations with dozens of other  applications.Our tech stack includes Node.js, React, ElasticSearch, Angular,
• OpenIAM, and Hadoop.
• Play a key role in delivering software solutions for critical application development projects in and DevOps environment.
• Work with DevOps automation approaches involving GitHub/GitLab.
• Remain current on Web development technologies, assess new standards, technologies, and trends, and formulate and recommend strategies and tactics for future platform enhancements.
• Continuously engage with project teams to deliver quality products.
• Communication - Ensure regular, effective communication with team members and cross-functional resources.
• Help define, create, test, and execute operations procedures.
• Help document current and future configuration processes and policies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• BSc/HND in Computer Science or related study from a recognized institution
• 2+ years of experience with developing software in a professional setting.
• 2+ years of experience with using Node.js and/or React as a full-stack application language.
• Must have experience designing complex software solutions
• Exposure to all aspects of modern web application architectures, visual design, and mobile web development
• Versatility developing with multiple front-end and back-end technologies (Example: ES.Next, TypeScript, Go, React, GraphQL, SCSS/LESS, Python/Bash scripting)
• Experience with a variety of data systems such as SQL, NoSQL, Stream Processing and Distributed Key-Value Stores
• Familiar with REST API schema formats, such as: OpenAPI/Swagger, GraphQL and

ProtoBuf

• Experience with running and defining Docker containers
• Familiar with Kubernetes resource APIs and related CLI tools
• Comfortable using and configuring software on Linux based operating systems
• Experience in the architecture and implementation of medium-to-large distributed computing environments.
• Experience/knowledge of software and system optimization, helping to remove potential performance bottlenecks
• Experience with maintaining full stack application with modern technologies, intuitive user-interfaces and scalable data processing architectures using open source software
