They are seeking a passionate and driven Electrical Technician with a strong interest & experience in the solar industry.
The ideal candidate will assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of solar power systems while actively contributing to project development and execution.
Responsibilities
Installation and maintenance of power systems including AVRs, UPS and Inverters etc.
Support senior engineers in conducting power audits, feasibility studies, site surveys, and electrical system assessments for renewable energy projects.
Collaborate with the engineering team to create detailed electrical drawings, diagrams, and specifications for solar installations.
Participate in the installation, testing, and commissioning of solar energy systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to solar power systems, ensuring optimal system performance.
Conduct research on emerging technologies and best practices in the renewable energy sector to contribute innovative ideas to project designs.
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality standards are met.
Adhere to safety protocols and standards throughout project execution, prioritizing a safe working environment for all team members.
Requirements
In Depth knowledge of Solar energy system, design and installation
NABTEB/ SSCE certificate
Proficiency in electrical wiring, codes and ethics
Minimum of 4 years field experience
Experience in roof mounting techniques across different roof types
Ability to communicate fluently in English language.
