We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in 3D design solutions such as SketchUp, Revit, and AutoCAD, with a passion for architecture and a willingness to learn. This role involves assisting with various architectural projects, creating design plans, and collaborating with senior architects to bring our clients' visions to life.
Key Responsibilities
Design Assistance: Support senior architects in developing architectural concepts and plans.
Technical Drawings: Create detailed architectural drawings and plans using AutoCAD and other design software.
3D Modeling: Develop 3D models and renderings using software such as SketchUp and other 3D tools.
Client Meetings: Assist in preparing presentations for client meetings and participate in discussions to understand client needs and preferences.
Material Selection: Research and select materials, finishes, and architectural elements in line with design concepts.
Project Coordination: Help coordinate architectural projects from concept through completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
Documentation: Maintain project documentation and organize design files.
Site Visits: Conduct site visits to understand the space and gather necessary measurements and details.
Collaborative Work: Work closely with the design team and other departments to ensure cohesive and integrated architectural solutions.
Feedback Implementation: Incorporate feedback from senior architects and clients into design revisions.
Qualifications:
Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Architecture or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and other 3D design software.
2+ years of experience as an Architecture
Work Tool: Must have a personal laptop capable of running design software.
Creativity: Strong creative and artistic skills with a keen eye for detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Organization: Strong organizational and time management skills.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
