Junior Applications Developer at TRANOS

Role Description

• The Junior Applications Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos. This role involves assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications under the guidance of our Senior developers. Daily tasks include writing clean and efficient code, participating in code reviews, testing and debugging applications, and supporting integration between different systems. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, contribute to technical documentation, and ensure applications perform reliably in production environments. The role also includes learning and applying best practices in software development and staying current with relevant technologies.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Programming for building and maintaining applications.
• Candidate should possess skills in Phyton, Visual Basic, SQL, HTML & Java script
• Candidates should possess skills in working with Databases for data modeling, querying, and application data management.
• Candidates should possess skills in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for styling and enhancing user interfaces.
• Candidates should possess skills in Integration for connecting applications and services, including APIs and third-party tools.
• Relevant qualifications include a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Beneficial skills include familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), basic understanding of web technologies, and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication, willingness to learn, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment are important.
