Junior Accountant at LD&D Consulting

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to support our finance operations. 
• The ideal candidate should have 1 – 3 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of accounting principles, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate record keeping
• Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
• Maintain proper documentation of financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Reconcile ledgers and assist with budget tracking
• Assist in payroll preparation and statutory remittances
• Liaise with auditors and support audit processes as required
• Provide administrative and financial support to the finance team

Requirements

• B.Sc. / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1 – 3 years of relevant accounting experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts, etc.)
• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) is an advantage.
