IT System Audit Specialist at PalmPay

PALMPAY is seeking a highly skilled IT System Audit Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and assessing the effectiveness of our IT systems, infrastructure, and security protocols. This role will play a crucial part in identifying potential risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing best practices to safeguard our organization's assets and data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive audits of our IT systems, including hardware, software, networks, and databases, to assess compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures and identify vulnerabilities or weaknesses in our systems.
• Develop and implement audit procedures and methodologies to ensure thorough and accurate assessments of IT infrastructure and controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement in IT governance and risk management practices.
• Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and corrective actions to address identified issues.
• Work closely with IT and security teams to implement audit recommendations and monitor remediation efforts.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to IT and system auditing.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on IT security awareness and compliance practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CISM) is preferred.
• Proven experience 2-3 years in IT auditing, preferably within the financial services industry or fintech sector.
• In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security protocols, as well as regulatory requirements such as GDPR, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex technical environments and identify areas of risk or non-compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with audit management tools and software is a plus.
