IT Support Officer at NewGate Hospital

Job Description

• The IT Support Officer will assist the IT Department in providing technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth running of all computer systems, hardware, software, and network resources across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user incidents in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Support installation and updating of operating systems, applications, and antivirus software.
• Assist in managing the company’s LAN/Wi-Fi and internet connectivity.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Support data backup and recovery procedures.
• Assist in user account management (email, shared drives, access control, etc.).
• Provide technical support for virtual meetings, presentations, and system updates.
• Escalate complex issues to the IT Officer or external vendors where necessary.
• Participate in system upgrade projects and periodic IT audits.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security best practices.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate should have 1 - 2 years of hands-on experience in IT support or a related role.
• Living within proximity to Ikorodu is an added advantage.
