Brief Description

• The IT Officer is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting computer systems and networks within an organization. They also assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects and provide technical support to employees.

Tasks

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with computer systems and networks
• Provide technical support to employees
• Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery operations
• Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures
• Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects
• Keep abreast of new technologies and trends in the industry

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2-3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of computer systems and networks
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
