The IT Officer will be responsible for monitoring IT infrastructure, ensuring system availability, and providing first-level support for applications, networks, and databases.
This role requires a highly analytical, service-oriented professional with expertise in IT operations, incident management, and system monitoring within a financial institution.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor IT services, including applications, networks, middleware, and infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance.
Manage incident logging, triage, and resolution, escalating complex technical issues when necessary.
Conduct root-cause analysis on system failures, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
Ensure seamless transition of new IT implementations, incorporating system monitoring requirements.
Maintain and update IT service availability reports, providing insights to technical and operational teams.
Requirements
Maximum 27 years old.
Minimum of B.Sc. (Second Class Lower) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
1 - 2 years in IT support, system monitoring, or database management.
Proficiency in IT monitoring tools
Basic knowledge of network infrastructure, WAN/LAN connectivity, firewalls, and security.
Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, incident management, and troubleshooting best practices.
