iOS Engineer at Conclase Consulting

Role Description

• The iOS Engineer will design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications, collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver user-centered solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing performance, fixing bugs, writing clean and testable code, and ensuring applications follow best practices and platform guidelines. The role also involves participating in code reviews, integrating APIs and services, and contributing to technical documentation and continuous improvement of the mobile development process.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in iOS Development and iOS frameworks
• Experience in Mobile Application Development and building Mobile Applications end-to-end
• Background in Software Development, including object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Hands-on experience with Swift (and/or Objective-C), Xcode, and common iOS libraries and tools
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with backend services
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles for mobile interfaces and Apple Human Interface Guidelines
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Ability to debug, test, and optimize applications for performance, security, and reliability
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively on-site in Lagos
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Banking or Fintech experience is a plus.
