    Inventory Manager

    Job Summary:

    The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s inventory control operations, including inventory tracking, stock management, and ensuring that inventory levels are maintained to meet business demands. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Inventory Control: Develop and implement inventory control procedures and systems to maintain accurate inventory records.
    • Stock Management: Monitor stock levels and conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
    • Forecasting: Collaborate with the facilities management teams to forecast inventory needs and adjust stock levels accordingly.
    • Ordering: Manage the procurement process by placing orders, tracking shipments, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
    • Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement in inventory management practices.
    • Cost Management: Optimize inventory levels to balance cost control with the need to meet business demands.
    • Team Supervision: Lead and supervise the inventory team, providing training, guidance, and performance management.
    • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management.
    • Reporting: Prepare and present inventory reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, issues, and recommendations.
    • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy, efficiency, and overall supply chain effectiveness.

    Requirements:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management,  Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Experience:
      • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain management, or a related field.
      • Proven experience with inventory management software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, WMS).
    • Skills:
      • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
      • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
      • Proficiency in using inventory management and reporting software.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Leadership and team management skills.
      • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
      • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends as needed.
    • Physical ability to conduct stock audits and manage inventory in warehouse settings.
