We're looking for an Inventory Manager to oversee inventory operations across our darkstore network, ensuring products are available when customers need them while minimizing waste, stockouts, and inventory losses.
As Inventory Manager, you'll own the accuracy, health, and performance of inventory across multiple locations. You'll work closely with Procurement, Operations, Warehouse teams, and Store Managers to ensure products are ordered, received, stored, and tracked efficiently.
This is a highly analytical and operational role. You'll spend time in the data identifying trends and discrepancies, while also working closely with teams on the ground to improve processes and execution. We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and obsessed with operational excellence.
In this role, you'll be required to:
Own inventory accuracy and stock health across all darkstore locations.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability across product categories.
Develop and maintain inventory control processes that reduce shrinkage, waste, and stock discrepancies.
Analyze inventory performance metrics and recommend improvements to forecasting and replenishment processes.
Investigate inventory variances and lead root cause analysis for stock losses and adjustments.
Coordinate regular stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits across stores.
Work closely with Procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment and optimal stock levels.
Partner with Warehouse and Store Operations teams to improve inventory handling and storage practices.
Monitor product expiry risks and implement processes to minimize inventory write-offs.
Track inventory-related KPIs and prepare regular performance reports and recommendations.
Drive continuous improvements in inventory systems, controls, and operational processes.
Support the launch of new stores by establishing inventory processes and controls from day one.
You're perfect for the role if you:
Have experience managing inventory operations in retail, e-commerce, logistics, FMCG, or supply chain environments.
Are highly analytical and comfortable working with large datasets and operational reports.
Have strong knowledge of inventory management principles, stock control processes, and inventory reconciliation.
Can identify operational problems quickly and implement practical solutions.
Are highly organized and pay close attention to detail.
Communicate effectively and can work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
