Inventory Accountant / Senior Accountant (ACA, ACCA) at Genesis Group

Key Responsibilities

• Record Keeping: Maintain and update accurate records of all inventory transactions, purchases, and stock levels.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile inventory records with the general ledger and investigate any discrepancies or shrinkage.
• Audits & Counts: Coordinate and perform regular physical inventory counts and cycle checks.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze inventory costs, track standard product costs, and review manufacturing or purchasing variances.
• Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly inventory valuation, turnover, and consumption reports for management.
• Cross-Functional Work: Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, production, and sales teams to optimize stock levels.
• Compliance: Ensure accounting practices match standard regulations like GAAP.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant accounting or inventory management experience.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
