Internal Control Supervisor at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Duties

• Responsible for managing company’s risk management programs.
• Lead and drive the integration of operational risk management controls, compliance controls and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Perform annual walkthroughs over key financial processes (Financial Reporting, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Inventory, Order-to-cash, Procure-to-Pay, Payroll, Pension, Tax, Treasury and IT).
• Propose constructive and practical improvements in terms of minimizing risks and follow implementation on corrective actions.
• Implement and continuously improve efficient and effective procedures and processes across the organization
• Maintain all internal control documentation in line with Group requirements.
• Perform data analytics procedures on purchases, transactions and expense reports.
• Assist Finance Manager on preparing opening balance sheets for business combination.
• Coordinate and assist internal and external auditors in their periodic reviews.
• Follow up and support operations/Line managers on the resolution of Corporate Internal Audit Findings and External auditors Management letter comments.
• Execute, document and report any all audits or investigation as required by Senior Management.
• Handle special projects.
• Adhere to internal standards, policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in finance/accounting or related (essential).
• ICAN/ any other professional background (essential).
• 5 years of work experience (essential).
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
