Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Internal Control Officer to assess, monitor, and strengthen the effectiveness of our internal control systems.
• The ideal candidate will help safeguard the organization’s assets, ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and support continuous improvement in operational efficiency and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls across various departments and functions.
• Identify gaps or weaknesses in controls and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in developing and updating internal control frameworks and documentation.
• Collaborate with audit teams to facilitate internal and external audit activities.
• Conduct periodic risk assessments and support risk management processes.
• Track and ensure timely closure of control gaps and audit recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Minimum of 2 - 4 years experience in internal control, internal audit, compliance, or risk management.
• Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
