We are seeking a full-time Internal Control Manager to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria.
This is an on-site role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining internal control systems to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
The role involves performing risk assessments, conducting audits, analyzing financial and operational processes, identifying areas of improvement, and developing strategies to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
The Internal Control Manager will work closely with different departments to enhance overall organizational performance and minimize financial or operational risks.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of internal control systems, risk assessments, and audit processes.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively, collaborate across teams, and manage cross-functional projects.
Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
Professional certifications such as ICAN, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are an advantage.
Proficiency with financial systems and tools; advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
Prior experience in internal controls, risk management, or auditing in a retail or fashion-related industry.
