Role Description

• We are seeking a full-time Internal Control Manager to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria.
• This is an on-site role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining internal control systems to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• The role involves performing risk assessments, conducting audits, analyzing financial and operational processes, identifying areas of improvement, and developing strategies to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
• The Internal Control Manager will work closely with different departments to enhance overall organizational performance and minimize financial or operational risks.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of internal control systems, risk assessments, and audit processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively, collaborate across teams, and manage cross-functional projects.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
• Professional certifications such as ICAN, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are an advantage.
• Proficiency with financial systems and tools; advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
• Prior experience in internal controls, risk management, or auditing in a retail or fashion-related industry.
