Internal Audit Executive at ExCare Services Limited

Our client is seeking an Internal Audit Executive to strengthen internal controls, prevent losses, and ensure regulatory compliance across its pharmacy, supermarket, and other operational units.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and random stock counts, investigate variances, and identify losses, damages, expiry, and stock shrinkage.
• Monitor inventory movement, stock adjustments, product expiry, and compliance with FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) principles.
• Enforce cash evacuation policies and investigate incidents identified through CCTV reviews.
• Monitor compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including NAFDAC and PCN standards.
• Audit controlled drug dispensing and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Recommend and implement practical measures to reduce losses and strengthen internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Science, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in internal audit, loss prevention, inventory control, or compliance within healthcare, retail pharmacy, or supermarket operations.
• Knowledge of inventory management, FEFO principles, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in POS and inventory management software.
• Strong analytical, investigative, reporting, and communication skills, with high integrity and attention to detail.
