Interior Design Architect at Fhemfel Homes

JOB SUMMARY

• The Interior Design Architect will collaborate closely with the Lead Architect to develop interior concepts, space-planning solutions, and detailed interior drawings that align with project requirements and overall architectural vision. This role combines creativity with technical precision, ensuring that design intent is maintained from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Concept Development

• Develop interior design concepts aligned with project vision and brand standards.
• Prepare mood boards, 3D visualizations, renderings, and presentation materials.
• Produce detailed drawings including layouts, elevations, sections, and joinery details.
• Ensure design compliance with building codes, safety standards, and regulations.

Space Planning & Technical Documentation

• Create functional space plans that maximize efficiency and aesthetics.
• Prepare working drawings and specifications for construction and fit-out.
• Review architectural drawings to ensure interior alignment with overall design.

Material & Finishes Selection

• Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and fixtures within approved budgets.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for samples and pricing.

Project Coordination

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers.
• Conduct site visits to monitor implementation and ensure design accuracy.
• Address design-related site issues and provide timely solutions.

Budget & Timeline Management

• Work within allocated budgets and project timelines.
• Support cost estimation and value engineering where necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related field
• 3–5+ years’ experience in interior design/architecture (real estate experience preferred)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Corona, Revit, Lumion, or similar software
• Strong understanding of construction detailing and materials
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
