Interior Decorator at Teal Harmony

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Decorator.
• The Interior Decorator will be responsible for planning, designing, and decorating interior spaces.
• In addition, they will work with furniture and furnishings to create beautiful and well-designed spaces to meet client tastes and requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Works with clients to determine initial goals and requirements for the space to be designed.
• Analyzes movement and use patterns of the space.
• Creating initial design sketches, color themes and ideas based on client requirements and space availability
• Produce sample boards and mood boards to demonstrate preliminary designs to client.
• Consults with client to select materials, furnishings, and décor pieces.
• Uses design applications to prepare and illustrate final plans. 
• Use of necessary materials, adhering to project and budget specifications.
• Oversees the installation of materials, furniture, and other design elements.
• Maintains current knowledge of trends and materials, techniques, and other developments in interior design. 
• Performs other related duties as assigned. 
• Inspect design after completion to determine whether client goals have been met

Qualifications

• Experience in Interior Design and Decoration
• Customer service skills
• Knowledge of Furniture and Furnishings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Creativity and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
• Experience with 2D and 3D Design software is a plus
• Portfolio of completed projects
