Information Security Officer (Data Protection) at Kimberly Ryan

Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor information security strategies, policies, and controls.
• Oversee the organization’s data protection strategy and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Conduct information security and data protection risk assessments, including DPIAs.
• Develop and maintain data protection policies, procedures, and risk treatment plans.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, data subject requests, and compliance issues.
• Coordinate VAPT, IT audits, and other information security assessments.
• Collaborate with business units to strengthen risk management, controls, and overall information security.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Accounting, or Finance, with a minimum of Second-Class Upper.
• Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in Information Security and Data Protection, preferably within the Nigerian Capital Market.
• Strong knowledge of information security frameworks, cybersecurity, risk management, and GRC tools.
• Good understanding of data protection legislation, particularly NDPR.
• Relevant professional certification such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CEH, CIPP, CDPO, or ISO certification.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
