JOB SUMMARY

• We are seeking an experienced Industrial Plumber to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial plumbing, piping, and utility systems within our facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, maintain and repair industrial piping and plumbing systems
• Maintain water supply, drainage, pumps, valves and utility lines
• Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages and pressure problems
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance
• Assist with installation and modification of piping systems
• Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance procedures

ADDED ADVANTAGE

• Experience in agro-processing, food processing or manufacturing
• Knowledge of compressed air, hot-water/steam and industrial drainage systems

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of OND, Trade Test, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Plumbing or a related technical field
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Industrial Plumber
• Industrial/manufacturing experience is required
• Good knowledge of pumps, valves, tanks, fittings and piping systems
• Ability to troubleshoot plumbing and utility faults
• Ability to read and interpret piping layouts/drawings
• Good pipe fitting, joining and installation skills
• Basic welding, fabrication and pipe-support installation skills
• Technical or professional certification in plumbing or pipe fitting
