Support Partner Organisations to implement and monitor a coherent, inclusive and qualitative project on behalf of CBM/BMZ-TDA.
Provide technical support to partner organisations to ensure compliance to BMZ standards, disability inclusion and implementation of agreed plans.
Develop and ensure proper project monitoring system following CBM format and requirements.
Support partners to ensure that narrative reports and communication materials are submitted in timely manner and are of high quality.
In close cooperation with Programme Finance Officers, support partners and ensure the logistic, admin and financial monitoring of the project ( call up of funds, acknowledgement of receipt of funds, procurement of materials, utilisation of expenses and compliance with accountability principles).
Participate in meetings and support the partners to include disability in mainstream services being provided to affected population.
Continuously assess situation and support partner organisation to re-adjust activities as per need after discussion with line management.
Facilitate documentation of learnings and evaluation of the project in collaboration with the Communications Officer and the MEAL Officer.
Monitor the security situation on the ground and work with the Security Advisor to support the partners to develop a framework for safety and security management.
Support the partners to put in place sustainability measures beyond the project lifespan.
Carry out any other task assigned by line manager or other senior colleagues.
These are your qualifications
University Degree/ HND in Psychology, Sociology, Development or other related Social Sciences field is required; Master’s Degree will be added advantage.
Minimum of three (3) years specific professional experience working in complex and challenging field operational contexts.
Experience in providing support to local partners or working with donor organizations.
Prior experience with international development organizations or programs that have both national and community-level engagement.
Experience in project management, budget development, work-plan development, climate change etc.
Fluency in oral and written communication skills; particularly in English language is a must.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while juggling and coordinating multiple/conflicting priorities and deadlines.
Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) and good report writing skills.
Ability to integrate into a multi-cultural environment.
Must be proactive, seeking to do things differently, and to solve problems effectively and efficiently.
Ability and willingness to learn and travel frequently to project locations including – The security situation in the north-west is volatile, the candidate MUST be comfortable travelling to the project communities in the north-west.
Able to work independently, and as a member of a team.
