    Human Resources Officer

    Job Description

    • The HR Officer is responsible for providing support to the Regional HR Supervisor in the various human resource functions including Compensation and Benefit, training and development, performance management, employee relations and welfare.
    • Provide inputs to HR related activities towards the annual strategy and planning session.
    • Support the Regional HR Supervisor in the development of HR strategies for the departments
    • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to staff in accordance with the employee handbook
    • Support the HR Manager in HR activities such as recruitment, employee survey, performance management, capability development
    • Assist in the on-boarding of new employees at the Regional level, this includes; Documentation, HMO, Pension Administration
    • Work closely with the Regional HR Supervisor to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
    • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
    • Provide support in the deployment of capability development programs for the staff in the Region
    • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues in conjunction with the HR Manager
    • Preparation of Offer, Confirmation, Promotion, Warning, Suspension, Dismissal and Termination Letters
    • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensure compliance at the Regional level
    • Conducting Employee Exit processes; This include; Exit clearance, processing Terminal benefits, Scheduling cheques
    • Advice management with regards to the implication of key human resource decisions
    • Processing and Conducting Leave Requests, tracking leave Administration and staff resumption

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related discipline
    • Relevant postgraduate and or professional qualification would be an added advantage
    • Must possess 1-2 years’ work experience in Human Resources/Administration
    • Conflict management skills
    • Communication skills
    • Ability to operate spreadsheets and word processing documents
    • Negotiation Skills
    • Continuous development
