Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline by identifying, attracting and retaining top talents.
Foster an organizational culture and work climate that maintains CS-SUNN’s status as an employer of choice.
Initiate and execute targeted capacity building programmes for improved performance of staff at the National secretariat and among member organizations.
Facilitate the bi-annual performance appraisal, supporting the supervisors/supervisees with technical support and relevant trainings for optimal outcomes with prompt reports on outputs.
Maintain an updated and complete employee records for analysis, projections, plannings, decision-making, interventions and reporting.
Excellent compensation and benefits management in collaboration with Finance Unit and in strict compliance to all labour and statutory regulations.
Oversee adequate preparations and logistics support for all CS-SUNN’s Statutory and Management meetings as well as provide prompt and comprehensive reports with necessary follow-ups on resolutions and action plans.
Provide consultative and technical support to all stakeholders (internal/external) to ensure the proper interpretation, communication and motivation of teams/individuals on the implementation of CS-SUNN strategic goals and objectives as well as donor-specific deliverables.
Manage and report on the Assets and inventory of the organization.
Lead on the update of existing policies and the development of new policies, practices and protocols as and when required.
Develop, implement, monitor and report on HR & Admin budget component across proposals, projects and initiatives.
Position Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree. Relevant and Applicable Post-Graduate Education (MSc, MBA, M.A, PhD) is desirable.
Minimum of 5 years cognate HR experience in the NGO sector, preferably at the HQ level.
Minimum of 2 HR certifications/trainings and membership of at least 1 renowned HR Professional Institute (CIPM, CIPD, SHRM, HRCI, CPHR etc.)
Excellent oral and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledgeable and skilled in the application of the Nigerian Labour Act and allied guidelines in employee relations and management of contracts.
