Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
Implement performance review procedures (e.g quarterly/annual and 360° evaluations)
Develop fair HR policies and ensure employees understand and comply with them and are applied consistently
Implement effective sourcing, screening and interviewing techniques
Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees
Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities
Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team
Measure employee retention and turnover rates
Design and implement employee retention strategies
Design and Monitor HR department’s budget
Act as the point of contact regarding labour legislation issues
Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations
Manage employees’ grievances
Maintain company organization charts and employee directory
Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives
Review current HR technology and recommend more effective software
Maintain HR systems and processes
Conduct performance and salary reviews
Oversee daily operations of the HR Department
Ideal Profile
Requirements
A first degree in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management or any Social Science field
4 years experience in similar position
CIPM, CIPD,HRCI, SHRM is an added advantage
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent computer skills, knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), Microsoft Office Suite and demonstrate skill in database management and record keeping
