    Human Capital Manager

    Job Objectives

    • The Human Capital Manager/Administrative Manager plays a dual role, integrating human capital strategies with effective administrative management to support organizational growth and efficiency.
    • This position is responsible for leading and directing all functions related to human resources and administrative services, ensuring a productive work environment that aligns with the company's strategic goals.
    • This role is essential for the creation and oversight of our Human Resource Management strategies and practices, ensuring they align with the organization’s goals.
    • The individual will spearhead the development of HR policies and systems, fostering a positive work environment and maintaining an optimal level of skilled staff to support the company's strategic objectives.

    Principal Duties / Responsibilities
    Strategic Responsibilities:

    • Craft and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that integrates with the company's overall mission.
    • Establish HR policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and support systems, ensuring effective management and achievement of the HR unit’s goals.
    • Oversee the enforcement of HR policies to maintain consistency across the board, including recruitment, training, and employee service terms.

    HR Planning and Operations:

    • Analyze and forecast HR needs across departments, recommending actionable strategies.
    • Lead the recruitment and onboarding process to ensure the selection of qualified candidates.
    • Offer guidance on employment and labor matters in accordance with established policies and regulations.
    • Maintain a detailed HR database for efficient operation.
    • Guide the evaluation and structuring of organizational roles and responsibilities.

    Workplace Safety and Talent Management:

    • Implement and monitor health and safety protocols for all employees.
    • Oversee talent management strategies to support succession planning.

    Compensation and Performance:

    • Administer the company’s salary structure and benefits, ensuring fairness and compliance with policies.
    • Lead salary and benefits benchmarking studies, providing recommendations for adjustments.
    • Oversee the performance management process, aligning it with business goals.

    Employee Relations:

    • Provide expertise on employment laws and HR policies to ensure compliance.
    • Manage employee relations to maintain a harmonious work environment.

    Development and Training:

    • Identify and address training needs within the company.
    • Ensure the relevance and effectiveness of training programs.

    Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Build and maintain relationships with external entities like the Labour Commission and regulatory bodies.

    Financial and Reporting Accountability:

    • Prepare and manage the HR unit's budget.
    • Stay updated on HR trends and legislation, reporting on HR metrics and compliance.

    Team Leadership:

    • Lead and develop the HR team, setting performance standards and encouraging professional growth.

    Job Requirements
    To be successful in the role, the candidates should meet the following requirements:
    Educational Background and Experience:

    • Master’s Degree or equivalent in Human Resource Management or a related field, with professional certification.
    • A minimum of ten years’ experience in HR, including five years in a senior role.

    Skills:

    • Comprehensive understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
    • Proficient in HR systems and management development.
    • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships and manage a team effectively.
    • Proficient in MS Office and HR software.
