    HR Officer (Performance Management Specialist)

    Job Summary

    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving a robust, data-driven performance management system.
    • The role focuses on setting measurable targets, developing scorecards, tracking performance outcomes, and ensuring alignment between individual, departmental, and organizational objectives.

    Key Responsibilities
    Performance Management Framework:

    • Design and manage end-to-end performance management systems and cycles.
    • Develop SMART KPIs, OKRs, and balanced scorecards across roles and departments.
    • Translate organizational strategy into measurable staff performance targets.
    • Establish performance measurement standards and evaluation criteria.

    Target Setting & Monitoring:

    • Work with leadership and line managers to set annual and periodic performance targets.
    • Monitor performance progress and provide data-driven insights.
    • Maintain performance dashboards, scorecards, and analytics.
    • Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.

    Appraisal & Review Process:

    • Coordinate mid-year and annual performance reviews.
    • Ensure objective, consistent, and documented appraisal outcomes.
    • Train managers and employees on performance management tools and methodologies.
    • Support performance-linked rewards, promotions, and improvement plans.

    Continuous Improvement:

    • Review and refine performance tools, metrics, and processes.
    • Benchmark performance practices against industry standards.
    • Provide management with analytical reports on productivity and performance trends.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in HRM, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 4 years experience as a Performance Management Specialist.
    • Formal training and certifications in Performance Management.
    • Strong analytical, reporting, and data interpretation skills.
    • Advanced Excel and HRIS experience.
    • Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
