    HR, Officer

      A vacancy has arisen in a reputable Chamber of Commerce

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or another relevant discipline.
    • Relevant professional qualification and certification (CIPM, PHR, and SPHR).
    • A master’s degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in similar role.
    • Competence in IT and Microsoft office and hands-on experience with HR software.
    • In-depth knowledge of all HR function with a good understanding of relevant legislation. 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. 
    • An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities.

    Job Description

    • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives to align with the overall strategy of the Chamber.
    • Maintain any connections with important providers, relate with external recruiters, and liaise with regulatory agencies on related matters. 
    • Manage human resource compliance and regulatory systems.
    • Oversee annual renewal procedures as required.
    • Make recommendations on staff welfare, remuneration package, and other benefits.
    • Provide comprehensive and practical HR recommendations and support to Management.
    • Emplace robust performance and talent management processes and policies. 
    • Support and manage disciplinary and grievance processes.
    • Analyse the effectiveness of the Chamber’s HR procedures and tools and make recommendations to Management.
    • Handle staff onboarding and orientation.
    • Prepare monthly HR reports.
    • Maintaining staff data and ensuring consistency in the application of HR policies system.
    • Any other task assigned.
