    HR Generalist

    Overview: 

    • We are looking for a Lagos based, mid-level HR Generalist to join our team.
    • The goal of this role is to ensure the HR department's operations runs smoothly and effectively, to deliver maximum value to Busha.
    • You will work with other cross-functional team members and will rely heavily on both qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions.
    • You will show competence in handling different human resources responsibilities and have strong communication abilities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide support in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies and provide guidance and interpretation of HR procedures.
    • Prepare paperwork and schedules for smooth new hire onboarding process, and coordinate with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first day experience
    • Handle administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientations, exit interviews and data entry in human resource information systems (HRIS)
    • Support the talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
    • Conduct employee onboarding and help organise training and development initiatives.
    • Monitor employee Morale and company culture.
    • Undertake tasks around performance management
    • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits, and organising team building activities.
    • Provide support to employees in various functions such as leave, compensation, and resolve any issues that may arise.
    • Implement and administer human resources policies and procedures.
    • Participate in the development of HR objectives and systems.
    • Provide support in administering benefits and employee performance programs.
    • Support employees with efficient problem solving when issues arise.
    • Recommend and develop employee relations practices to foster positive employer employee relations.
    • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and contribute to policy development.
    • Implement programs to improve employee experience.

    The ideal candidate must have;

    • A minimum of 3+ years Human resource experience
    • Demonstrated knowledge of the Human Resources field.
    • Experience with HRIS Systems
    • Excellent record keeping skills.
    • Capacity to apply discretion and maintain high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
    • Strong problem solving, verbal, written and communication skills.
    • Understanding of personnel records management process.
    • Understanding of Labour & Federal laws

    • Excellent analytical and time management skills

    • The ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong problem solving, verbal, written and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision while achieving benchmarks.

    • Experience working in Crypto.
