We are looking for a Lagos based, mid-level HR Generalist to join our team.
The goal of this role is to ensure the HR department's operations runs smoothly and effectively, to deliver maximum value to Busha.
You will work with other cross-functional team members and will rely heavily on both qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions.
You will show competence in handling different human resources responsibilities and have strong communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
Provide support in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies and provide guidance and interpretation of HR procedures.
Prepare paperwork and schedules for smooth new hire onboarding process, and coordinate with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first day experience
Handle administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientations, exit interviews and data entry in human resource information systems (HRIS)
Support the talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
Conduct employee onboarding and help organise training and development initiatives.
Monitor employee Morale and company culture.
Undertake tasks around performance management
Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits, and organising team building activities.
Provide support to employees in various functions such as leave, compensation, and resolve any issues that may arise.
Implement and administer human resources policies and procedures.
Participate in the development of HR objectives and systems.
Provide support in administering benefits and employee performance programs.
Support employees with efficient problem solving when issues arise.
Recommend and develop employee relations practices to foster positive employer employee relations.
Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and contribute to policy development.
Implement programs to improve employee experience.
The ideal candidate must have;
A minimum of 3+ years Human resource experience
Demonstrated knowledge of the Human Resources field.
Experience with HRIS Systems
Excellent record keeping skills.
Capacity to apply discretion and maintain high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Strong problem solving, verbal, written and communication skills.
Understanding of personnel records management process.
Understanding of Labour & Federal laws
