    HR Associate

    Job Description

    • Support the HR manager to create a positive work environment and culture that promotes  employee satisfaction and productivity. 
    • Implementing employee engagement strategies that promote higher retention rates,  increased employee morale, productivity and improved organisational performance.
    • Hearing & resolving employee conflicts through positive and professional mediation (escalating to the HR manager if/when required).
    • Handling workplace investigations, disciplinary and termination procedures.
    • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
    • Support the HR Manager in sourcing top talent to build a funnel of qualified candidates, managing communication, hiring documentation, scheduling and conducting interviews.
    • Engage and captivate the interest of high-quality candidates and convert those candidates into hires.
    • Conduct reference check calls, make hiring recommendations, prepare offer letters and employment contracts.
    • Champion and drive the successful onboarding and induction process, ensuring the process is done in smooth and timely manner.
    • Work closely with managers on orientation plans and the employee confirmation process.
    • Ensure that all staff operational resources/materials are available (e.g. staff uniforms, name tags, ID cards etc). 
    • Drive the successful offboarding of exiting employees by working closely with managers to reduce threats to the company and ensure a smooth transition for employees 
    • Monitoring and overseeing staff attendance, overtime, leave and absence.
    • Ensure the timely and smooth run of the monthly payroll process.
    • Organise and plan training activities, meetings and in-house events.
    • Organise and coordinate employee events, such as team-building activities, social gatherings, and community service initiatives. 
    • Continuously explore new ideas and innovative approaches to foster a positive work culture, strengthen relationships, and improve engagement levels within the organisation.
    • Responding to any HR related enquiries.
    • Perform other necessary HR related duties as required by the HR manager.
