    HR/Admin Manager

    KEY PURPOSE OF JOB

    • Ensure business growth through provision of a fully integrated and effective human resource services
    • Ensure the current and future workforce capabilities and continuously championing enthronement of a performing workforce through attraction, development, retention and reward for talents.
    • To plan, direct and manage the performance of COLTON GROUP human resource, as dictated by the overall corporate business strategy, so as to maintain and develop corporate business growth in accordance with the defined long term business strategy.
    • Provide key indices around employees (direct and indirect) cost and service delivery capabilities to properly position for future planning.
    • General coordination of the Human Resources and Administration development and sub-unit, subdivisions, and maintaining professionalism and sound working environment.
    • Lead and ensure the facility management and general admin reflect the COLTON GROUP brand and efficiency.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    Strategy formulation & implementation

    • Support the overall process of management and corporate decision-making to ensure COLTON GROUP maximizes its short, medium and long-term profitability and returns to its shareholders through effective workforce engagement, talent and competencies.
    • Liaise with other departmental heads on the implementation of the company’s strategic and operational plans with regards to human capital philosophy.
    • Develop, review, and report on human resource strategy, ensuring the strategic objectives are well understood and executed.

    Management of overall human resources & administrative functions including:

    • Recruitment, Selection, placement and induction
    • Management of staff establishment and manpower Planning and to ensure compliance with approved organizational structure and continuous review of the organogram to meet the current and future manpower inventory and expansionary strategy.
    • Resourcing and recruitment policy procedures and processing.
    • In conjunction with Heads of Departments, analyze and identify skill gaps and make recommendations as to whether these should be filled by development and training of existing staff/partners or by strategic and targeted recruitment.
    • Training & Development, career planning and individual development plan.
    • Identify organizational training needs, establish and co-ordinate a realistic training and development plan and budget.
    • Develop an integrated management development training scheme for professional staff through internal/external resources.

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Coordinating with the Accountant and Heads of Departments to align proper and appropriate cost control of COLTON GROUP single biggest overhead with the provision of a salary review which rewards success and ensures the retention of a happy and motivated staff.
    • Payroll management, bonuses, incentives and other employee recognition element.
    • Coordinate monthly payment inputs and provide accounts department with required inputs to prepare for the staff salary/ wages
    • Administration of staff welfare benefits: HMO, Pension, Performance Bonuses, birthdays, TGIF, us of recreational facilities, opinion surveys and feedbacks, etc.

    Employee administration

    • Undertake the appropriate administration in respect of the promotion of staff including the issuing of appropriate promotion guidelines, offer letters and contracts, confirmation letter, staff transfer, redeployment, leave matters, loan, and ensuring that the appropriate competitive remuneration packages are implemented.
    • Establish and maintain an effective records management system, including attendance and punctuality, conduct and discipline, disciplinary measures, corporate culture and ethical guidelines.

    Performance Management

    • Coordinate and ensure implementation of performance Management Systems and Staff Appraisals-monthly analysis, quarterly, bi-annual and annual

    HR Policy Development and Implementation

    • Responsible for drafting, reviewing, developing, documenting, communication, interpretation and monitoring the implementation of approved Human Resource policies, processes and procedures
    • Employee grievances/Engagement/Feedbacks:
    • Negotiation and collective bargaining, employee opinion survey, etc.

    Expenditure

    • Present a yearly budget for management approval and prudently manage resources within those budget guidelines according to company policy and within ethical corporate governance guidelinesFacility Management & Administration
    • Oversee the management and administration of the Human Resource office and staff
    • HR Reporting, HR Dash boards/ People Analytics:
    • Provide daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports in regard to human resources and budgeting in order to optimize opportunities, outputs and revenue.
    • Provide people analytics with insights that support business drivers and performance.

    Management of support services function including:

    • Drivers/Office Assistant/Receptionist/Security
    • Driver performance monitoring and reporting

    People Management

    • Build and lead an effective and cohesive operations team
    • manage the performance of managers and team members within the department through the formal performance management system
    • Self-development and continuing personal development

    KNOWLEDGE

    The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    EDUCATION

    • Bsc/HND + Other professional membership
    • Masters in related field

    EXPERIENCE

    • A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Human Resource Manager

    PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP OR REGISTRATION

    • A registered member of CIPM, CIPD, SHRM, NIM, NITAD
    • HR Certification from any of the bodies listed above is desirable
