Responsibilities
Cleaning and Maintenance:

• General Cleaning: Perform daily cleaning duties, including dusting all surfaces, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, and polishing furniture.
• Sanitation: Thoroughly clean and sanitize kitchens (countertops, appliances, sinks) and bathrooms (tubs, showers, toilets).
• Laundry and Linens: Wash, iron, fold, and organize all household laundry, including clothing, towels, and bed linens. Change bed linens regularly.
• Waste Management: Empty and clean waste receptacles and manage the proper disposal of trash and recycling materials.

Organization and Inventory:

• Tidiness: Maintain overall household organization, including tidying living areas, organizing closets, and arranging items neatly.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and replenish household supplies (cleaning products, toiletries, paper goods) and report inventory needs to the supervisor or employer.
• Specialized Care: Handle delicate fabrics, antique furnishings, and specialty surfaces (e.g., marble, wood floors) with appropriate care and cleaning methods.

Safety and Reporting:

• Equipment Care: Properly use, clean, and store all cleaning equipment (vacuums, mops, chemicals).
• Maintenance Reporting: Promptly report any required repairs, maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damage observed within the property.
• Discretion: Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding the employer’s affairs and the contents of the household.
