Housekeeper at Hotel Capitol

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms, public areas, and assigned facilities to ensure a comfortable, clean, and safe environment for guests or residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, dust, and sanitize rooms, hallways, restrooms, kitchens, and other assigned areas
• Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and toiletries
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and polish furniture as needed
• Empty trash bins and restock supplies (e.g., toilet paper, soap, cleaning products)
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost items to supervisors
• Follow established health and safety standards, including proper use of cleaning chemicals
• Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and ironing
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition
• Ensure guest rooms and common areas are tidy and welcoming
• Respect privacy and property of guests or residents at all times

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred 
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and efficiency
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Trustworthy and respectful of confidentiality
