Hospital Housekeeper at Shawsand Medical Centre

Job Description 

• We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Housekeeper to join our team at Shawsand Medical Centre.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment throughout the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, wards, offices, and common areas.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene in all hospital units, including bathrooms, hallways, and waiting areas.
• Dispose of waste properly and follow infection control procedures.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages or damaged equipment.
• Assist in laundry duties where required.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks comply with hospital safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform any other housekeeping duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of School Certificate (SSCE).
• At least 2 years experience in cleaning within a home, office, or hospital environment.
• Good knowledge of basic cleaning practices and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be dependable, honest, and hardworking.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary

• N30,000 - N100,000 / month. 
• Attractive and competitive (based on experience).
