Lead the overall development process of the greenfield hospital project, from initial planning to final completion and operationalization.
Collaborate with key stakeholders, including government authorities, healthcare professionals, architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure the hospital's design, construction, and equipment meet the highest quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.
Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring efficient allocation and effective utilization throughout the development process.
Conduct comprehensive market research and feasibility studies to assess the healthcare needs of within the country, competition analysis, and potential revenue streams for the hospital.
Develop strategic partnerships and collaborations with local healthcare providers, NGOs, and community organizations to ensure the hospital's services align with the specific healthcare needs.
Recruit, hire, train, and manage a diverse team of professionals to support the hospital's development and operationalization, including project managers, medical staff, administrative personnel, and support staff.
Develop and implement robust operational policies, procedures, and systems to ensure smooth and efficient hospital operations once the facility is operational.
Oversee the procurement and installation of medical equipment, supplies, and IT systems, ensuring they meet quality standards and support the hospital's clinical and administrative functions.
Monitor and evaluate the progress of the hospital development project, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards, and proactively identify and address any potential risks or issues.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospital development, preferably in resource-constrained environments or developing countries.
Strong knowledge of healthcare industry trends, regulations, and best practices, particularly in the context of developing countries.
Proven experience in managing complex projects, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse group of professionals towards a common goal.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at various levels, including government officials, healthcare professionals, and community leaders.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate challenges and make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts to diverse audiences.
