Job Summary

• A Health and Wellness Advisor is responsible for helping individuals and groups improve their overall health by providing guidance on lifestyle choices, preventive care, nutrition, and wellness programs.
• The role focuses on promoting healthy behaviors, reducing health risks, and supporting long-term well-being through education and personalized plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess clients’ health status, lifestyle habits, and wellness goals
• Develop personalized wellness plans covering nutrition, exercise, stress management, and preventive care
• Provide health education on topics such as diet, physical activity, mental health, and disease prevention
• Monitor client progress and adjust wellness plans as needed
• Conduct wellness workshops, seminars, and awareness programs
• Support clients in managing chronic conditions through lifestyle changes
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals when necessary
• Promote workplace or community wellness initiatives
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Health Education, or a related field
• Certification in health coaching or wellness (optional but an advantage)
• Strong knowledge of preventive healthcare and healthy lifestyle practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and support individuals toward behavior change
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills
