Job Details
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the overall implementation and internal auditing of the Environment & Social Management System (ESMS) of the bank.
Responsible for collating and producing the Sustainability strategy and activities for the bank through policy creation, monitoring, evaluating risk levels and compliance.
Develop and implement strategies to address the Three Pillars of Sustainability.
Facilitate sustainability projects by overseeing employee performance and provide clear direction for the goals of sustainability projects.
Responsible for compilation and production of quarterly ESG Board reports for the ESG Board Committee of the Bank and implement Board decisions by the ESG Board committee for the Bank.
Create, monitor, and evaluate and report on carbon footprint of the bank.
Responsible for waste management, recycling and strive to implement and contribute to a circular economy for the organization and the society at large.
Create and implement Sustainability training for staff within the organization to improve compliance and create awareness.
To create partnerships and synergies for environmental & social projects and activities for the Bank.
Responsible for the overall implementation, enactment and administration of LAPO MfB Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) operations for the Bank (hazards, drills, risk and compliance).
Responsible for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities and social advocacy and projects for the Bank as well as policy and partnership synergies.
To build effective membership of International Alliances of Institutions implementing with external organizations to support and strengthen sustainability in the Bank.
To carry out duties as assigned by the MD.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: A minimum of a Master’s degree
Experience: Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
